Catmon IS recognized by CAMANAVA Cluster for Regional Climate Change Caravan Best Practices
August 3, 2021 – CAMANAVA Cluster recognized Catmon Integrated School for its ingenious solution and best practices for managing the growing climate change impacts.
Schools Division Office – Malabon City personnel included Catmon IS Best practices in a video presentation of CAMANAVA Cluster for Regional Climate Change Caravan (RCCC) on October 15 to November 17,2021 as a run-up and celebration of the 14th Global Warming and Climate Change Consciousness Week on November 18-25,2021 to be featured via Facebook on October 25, 2021.
Together with the CIS teachers and PTA officers, Catmon IS launched several programs such as Gulayan sa Paaralan, Proper Waste Segregation, Materials Recovery Facility and Rainwater Harvesting System .
Furthermore, Dr. Emelbon S. Mayrina, School Head, envisioned that through collaboration of school’s stakeholders, Catmon IS can contribute in decreasing greenhouse gas emissions and creating the greenest school in Malabon.
